We have a lovely little jar that we put our extra change in all year long and when we go on a big vacation, we turn it all in for cash. This year we had $65 and some change. Not as profitable as years past because the kids kept taking quarters out to use at the neighbors gum ball machine. Still, it was good to have a little extra money to spend on treats at the gas station during our trip.
Simeon and I sorted and counted the money together, it was the best time I've ever had counting change.
