After a nice afternoon of swimming, we headed to my mother in laws for a little rest while we waited for Petter to get off work and then headed off to the most beautiful place ever. We went to Red Butte Gardens (my kids kept insisting it's pronounced butt, but it's not) We brought Grandma along with us and had a great time.
We couldn't have picked a better time/day to go. There were hardly any people there, it was a nice, cool evening and so many things were in full bloom.
Around every corner there is something new to discover, swings, secret passageways, little trails.
The children's garden was the highlight- so many things to look at and explore and play with
A huge tunnel perfect for chasing, and some giant lizards to rest on
Fun little houses made out of vines
It gave me some great ideas for making my yard a bit more fun
If you haven't been there before, you should absolutely check it out- I think I like it better than Thanksgiving Point gardens (shhh) and the kids did too.
