We went on a fabulous tour of the Bingham Canyon Mine. If you live in Utah- you must visit this place! It was fun to have Petter join us because he knew so much about it and was like our own tour guide.
The views are breathtaking and it's a little bit hard to grasp the scale and size.
These tires are taller than a school bus- they had a bus parked next to one (that's how I know)
Inside the visitors center they had a great video presentation and a lot of fun things to look at. These microscopes show different minerals.
I learned that the statue of liberty is made out of copper- I guess that explains the green hue.
